Story Starter
Liz’s heart was trying to beat out of her chest, but she refused to let it. She had to get everyone out of the area. It would drain her energy and probably land her at the hospital, but she had to do what she needed to do.
So far, she had made an effort to rescue three people, but she could hear the calls of others. It didn’t help that she got weaker with every use of her power. She had tried to call for help, and she had tried to send out her rescue beacon, but she was trapped underground. There was no way any other rescuer would receive her message, especially in a buckled mine.
